Nick Gardiner came to us with a clear vision for his third café; to create a neighbourhood-focussed venture, a regular haunt for locals that felt unpretentious and timeless. Named for Grange Road on which it sits, we were tasked with creating an approachable identity for Granger with an enduring relaxed elegance.
We worked closely with interior designer Kate Lee throughout the project to develop a visual identity that would become a part of the fabric of the space; to ensure the identity would sit harmoniously with the materials and colours used in the interior scheme. Using a palette of creams and warm whites, punctuated with the signature green used in the fit-out, we utilised quietly understated finishes such as white foiling to echo the confident restraint of the space itself.
